At Tayme Financial Group, onboarding fees start from $5,500 for individuals, $6,950 for couples, and $7,700 where entities such as trusts or SMSFs are involved. Aged Care advice is quoted on enquiry. Ongoing advice and support is generally the same as your onboarding fee, broken into 12 monthly instalments across the year. Your exact fee depends on the complexity of your situation, and you'll have a clear, written breakdown of what's included before you commit to anything.

In some cases, yes. The ATO's position is that deductibility depends on the nature and purpose of the advice, and the rules changed in recent years to allow a deduction for a broader range of ongoing advice relating to managing your tax affairs and producing assessable income. Initial advice to set up a plan is treated differently to ongoing advice, and fees paid from your super are treated differently again. Because it genuinely depends on your circumstances, we'll talk you through how it's likely to apply to you and recommend you confirm the specifics with your accountant.
